The TAP Group acquires MVM – ex BCUBE France
In 20 years, the TAP Group has positioned itself as a leading provider of integrated equipment solutions to meet the needs of its customers. Among its expertise, the Group designs and manufactures metal, plastic and wood packaging to optimize the supply chain.
“We continue to invest in the development of our business in France. In line with our strategic plan, the acquisition of MVM – formerly BCUBE France – strengthens the TAP Group’s expertise in industrial packaging and related services,” explains Terry Agullo-Ponce, President of the TAP Group. This integration also ensures us more competitiveness on the wood segment because of the integration of 3 French sawmills, completing our national network.
Indeed, MVM – ex BCUBE France – is the leader in wooden packaging and associated services with the production of 39,000 boxes and 550,000 m² of packaging per year.
The new company created is called Packing Log. It will benefit from all the support services of the TAP Group, in particular a design office specialized in industrial packaging and new more efficient means to optimize its offer and meet the current environmental challenges.
Enrico Francardi, former CEO of MVM – formerly BCUBE France – underlines the strength of this alliance: “This new impetus will allow us to complete our services and extend our packaging ranges by integrating other materials such as metal, polypropylene, composite or plastic and by taking advantage of the TAP Group’s experience in reusable, geolocatable and shuttle packaging in order to reduce logistics costs and meet the new CSR requirements of our customers.
